Rabbi Aharon Lavi
Rabbi Aharon Ariel Lavi is the Managing Director of the Ohr Torah Interfaith Center, where he works with global religious leaders to address shared societal challenges. He previously founded Hakhel, the Jewish Intentional Communities Incubator in the Diaspora, and MAKOM, Israel’s national umbrella for intentional communities—both recognized with the Jerusalem Unity Prize. Holding rabbinic semicha and advanced academic degrees, including a PhD on the migration of ideas between U.S. Jewry and Israeli society, he is a published author and educator in Jewish economic thought, community building, and interfaith engagement.
